Houlihan Smith Introduces Asset Management Subsidiary
CHICAGO, January 2008 — Houlihan Smith & Company, Inc. (Houlihan) introduced its newly formed asset management subsidiary, Houlihan Fund Advisors. The announcement was made by Mr. Richard Houlihan CPA/ABV, ASA Chairman, and co-founder of Houlihan.
Houlihan Fund Advisors (HFA) is an alternative investment focused advisor that will manage hedge funds that deliver superior returns to investors through a disciplined, multi-strategy investment approach. This approach will be implemented across a broad and expanding range of alternative asset classes, including derivatives and private placements. Mr. Houlihan will serve as CEO of HFA with Mr. Karl D'Cunha, a Chartered Accountant who is also a Senior Vice President at Houlihan, serving as HFA’s Chief Operating Officer.
