Houlihan Smith Arranges Credit Facility for Karbach Holdings Corp.
Chicago, IL/Hobart, IN (November 2007) - Houlihan Smith & Company, Inc. (Houlihan) acted as the exclusive financial advisor in arranging a $2 million credit facility for Karbach Holdings Corp., it was announced by Charles Botchway, Vice Chairman of Houlihan. The financing was provided by Amcore Bank headquartered in Rockford, Illinois. "This facility enables our client to expand their operations, and allows them to better handle their current and future growth," stated Sylvester Gbewonyo, Houlihan's Managing Director on the transaction.
Founded in 1990 and based in Hobart, Indiana, Karbach Holdings Corp. completes large-scale, high-profile graphics projects under the name SignPoint for manufacturing and client fulfillment, and the name Point Imaging Group for sales and marketing efforts. The company, founded by Kevin Huseman, has grown steadily from a two-person operation to 54 full-time employees. Its hallmark has been a commitment to invest in the most sophisticated production equipment available in the graphics industry for imaging, coating, finishing, and other work.
Karbach clients include Menard Inc., the home improvement store chain; Five Below, a retailer based in Philadelphia; the Arena Football League; and Live Nation Motorsports. Karbach was also commissioned by the Chicago White Sox to produce the "2005 World Series Champions" and other championship banners that adorn U.S. Cellular Field. Other services include colorful "wraps" of buses, cars and trucks; trade show and event signage; graphic design and production; and a specialized "in-ice" graphics system that places ads beneath the skates of hockey players and figure skaters. "We will use this credit facility to launch the strategic growth plan for Point Imaging," stated Kevin Huseman.
