Houlihan Smith Acts As Advisor In The Asset Sale Of Land Warfare Resource Corp.
CHICAGO, IL/ Springfield, VA (April 2008) Houlihan Smith & Company, Inc. (“Houlihan”) acted as exclusive sell side advisor for Land Warfare Resource Corporation. ("Land Warfare") in the sale of its assets to LWRC International, LLC. (“LWRC”), it was announced by Charles Botchway, Group Managing Director of Houlihan. The transaction was led by Houlihan Managing Director Sylvester Gbewonyo. Terms of the deal were not released.
Founded in 1999 and based in Springfield, Virginia, Land Warfare Resource Corporation specializes in the design and manufacture of assault rifles for the U.S. Department of Defense, domestic and foreign law enforcement agencies, private security contractors, and the civilian market, among others. The Company produces modified and vastly improved versions of the M-4, M-16, and AR-15 assault rifles that offer greater accuracy, reliability, and durability than traditional models. The principal improvement is the incorporation of a self-regulating, short-stroke gas piston system that reduces maintenance requirements while enhancing performance.
