Houlihan Smith Releases Solvency Compendium
Chicago, IL (December 2007) – Houlihan Smith & Company, Inc. (Houlihan) announces the release of the Solvency Compendium. The release was announced by Richard Houlihan, Chairman and co-founder of the firm. "In lieu of the recent tightening of the credit markets and the uncertainty surrounding the economy for 2008, we felt it timely to create a resource that captures current and historical solvency and fraudulent conveyance issues," Mr. Houlihan said. The Solvency Compendium is the second addition to the Houlihan Compendium Series, which began with the Fairness Compendium last year. Like the Fairness Compendium, which is a collection of 21 significant court cases relating to issues of fairness and standard of value, the Solvency Compendium consists of 19 landmark court decisions covering the last 20 years relating to issues of solvency and fraudulent conveyance law.
