Kevin Gear is an investment banker and Managing Director of Houlihan Smith & Company, Inc. and specializes in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Gear has ten years of mergers and acquisitions experience and was previously a Vice President of merger and acquisitions with Atlantic American Capital Advisors.
Prior to this, he was a Vice President for six years with Salomon Smith Barney's middle market mergers and acquisitions practice. He has significant transaction experience in a variety of industries, with a specialty in aerospace, manufacturing, and communications infrastructure companies. Mr. Gear spent three years with Deloitte and Touche as a financial consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University in Chicago and a MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of South Florida.
