Chuck Mouranie is a Managing Director in the Operational Improvement and Restructuring Division, where he makes extensive use of Lean Enterprise Methods (LEM) and Six Sigma tools to improve organizational structures, operating efficiency and revenue generation. His industry expertise includes manufacturing, medical, food, consumer products, environmental (green), and wholesale/distribution.
Mr. Mouranie is an operational and turnaround expert with diverse experience in manufacturing operations, engineering and program management. He has successfully assisted over fifty small, middle market and Global 1000 companies in restructuring operations to restore profitability and deal with changing economic conditions, while reducing working capital requirements.
Prior to joining Houlihan Smith, Mr. Mouranie was founder and president of CMM Engineering LLC, a leading Midwest operational improvement consulting firm. His central focus in working with clients is to improve operational cultures, while making sure transformational enhancements are lasting.
Mr. Mouranie holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix graduating with high honors, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, a published author and guest lecture on lean techniques and enterprises.
