Richard Johnston is a Director with Houlihan Smith & Company and advises the firm’s clients on Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisition transactions. Prior to joining Houlihan Smith he was president and owner of an investor relations firm, providing strategic assistance to young companies during capital raises all the way through the IPO process. He has also worked with numerous investment firms on the East and West coasts to broaden shareholder bases in both the retail and institutional markets. Mr. Johnston has spent over 30 years in the financial services industry in a variety of executive roles.

Mr. Johnston is a graduate of Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business where he majored in marketing and finance. He is married and has three adult children.
