Bruce Foltz is a Regional Director with Houlihan Smith & Company, Inc. Bruce serves in a business development capacity with a focus on strategic and specialized corporate finance and M&A transactions within the middle market. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Foltz was an Analyst at a leading management consulting firm, where he analyzed middle market companies operating ratios, break-even points, organizational problems and growth and profit potential. Before that he was a Sales Consultant for Tasco Manufacturing. As a Sales Consultant, Mr. Foltz designed and implemented selling strategies for manufacturing equipment. Prior to that Mr. Foltz spent over twenty eight years as a Pharmaceutical Specialist at Abbott Labs, Ross Laboratory. At Abbott Labs, he had extensive training in pediatric nutrition and neonatal pharmaceuticals. He introduced many new pharmaceutical products to the market, educated doctors and nurses on medical nutrition products including: Ensure, Osmolite, Enteral Pumps, Nasogastric Tubes, recommended nutrition products for infants and toddlers such as Simalic, Isomil, Alimentum, Neo-Sure, Pedialyte, Special Care, Human Milk Fortifier, and conducted semi-annual seminars on pharmaceutical education.
For three years Mr. Foltz, was a member of the Top Performers Club, which is the top 3% of pharmaceutical specialists in the nation. He was in the top 10% in the Eastern Region from 1996-2005. He acquired and maintained over 95% of the pharmaceutical business in his territory.
Mr. Foltz holds a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Ohio State University, College of Business.
