Long-term outlook for Construction and Real Estate sector looks promising
With the recession abating, economic activity in the U.S. is limping back to normalcy. While some credit for an early recovery goes to the stimulus packages provided by the government, the positive long term outlook hinges on continued growth in aggregate demand.
Census Bureau data shows that the population of the U.S. crossed 300 million in 2007 and is expected to touch 400 million by 2040. The increase in the total household in the next decade would range from 1.3 million to over 1.4 million homes annually.
